We provide Property Management, Inspection, Maintenance, Sales & Letting AND other related property / home services to Professional or 'Accidental' Landlords, to Property Developers and Home Owners.

Two distinct and separate service arms are provided:
 

1) Embassy Management

(BLOCK Management Services, and Property Sales).

Bev Barnes assumed full management^ control of the Embassy Management retained blocks in January 2021; she handles all on site practical matters that arise. (^ Whilst Bev is still operationally hands-on, there is a possible exception for any blocks to which we have been court (FTT) appointed, in which case another individual may be primarily responsible). All non-standard business administration for these blocks may be supported by Martyn Battrick; this may include Leasehold Enquiries (LPE1's), assistance with Annual Accounts as needed, and other support services that can be effectively managed remotely ... but we are fortunate to have Nikki Richens as Accounts Controller ( her email address is: accounts@mbcuk.com ) and Trisha Watts as our Administration Head. Trisha has many years of experience in Block and Lettings Management and has already proven herself to be an excellent resource for us and our clients alike. Trisha conducts regular property inspections but still manages to spend most of her day at the office; she can be contacted by telephone or at her direct email address, which is admin@mbcuk.com

2) Embassy Lettings

(Residential Letting and Tenancy Management Services).

Bev Barnes also heads up the Lettings and Tenancy Management service. She now has a number of year's of experience in the field of lettings and is a very popular resource for a growing number of clients. The success of this division has soared under Bev's tutelage and commitment!

Social Responsibility and participation, association and support - where possible - are central to our business philosophy. We like to establish partnerships with community groups and offer them the opportunity to glean referral commissions from business put our way by their leaders, volunteers or other supporters. WHO ARE WE?

 

We are a small, non-VAT registered, business (as at April 2023*). The business focuses primarily on Block & Tenancy Management, Residential Property Letting & Sales, and Repairs & Maintenance, and is based at No. 22 Cheriton Gardens, very close (a short walk) to Central Folkestone  *This status can change without notice but we try to manage our business within this limit.
 

WHERE DO WE SERVE?
 

Folkestone, Hawkinge, Hythe, Capel-Le-Ferne & Surrounds... but there is no absolute limit to where we can provide our services; At the time of update, we are managing a small block in Wimbledon, SW London! Practically, we focus on a 10 mile radius from our base (but have business dealings further afield; including Ashford, Canterbury & in Dover). South & East Kent is our primary workplace.
 

HOW LONG HAVE WE BEEN IN BUSINESS?
 

31 years as at September 2023. Embassy Management grew out of MB Consulting - a business, marketing and line management consulting services provider which started up in South Africa in 1992. We concentrated on Municipal functions and services for a long time but then became involved in Commercial & Industrial Property Sales and Letting with Propco in Durban (2004), and Residential Property in 2007 - then styled as 'Smartprop', and we enjoyed quite a bit of success through until mid 2009 when we moved everything to the UK (this primarily as a result of family changes and ties). We have been based in central Folkestone since 2012 and moved to our new larger premises in January 2023.

REGULATION AND LEGISLATION COMPLIANCE

We have registered with the ICO (ref: ZA354395) and always seek to comply with the GDPR
(General Data Protection Regulations) - as amended 25th May 2018.

Most of the personal data we hold securely will be relevant to existing tenancies and such will be lawfully held for contractual purposes. You may request details of what information we hold and request deletion IF a contractual relationship no longer exists (go to the Contact Us page -click here).

This provides our tenants with an opportunity to seek external help and possible redress in the event that we fail to meet reasonable standards of service after having been alerted to issues and given time to respond and correct matters.

We ARE members of a Client Money Protection scheme.  < Click link to access the CMP website.

Ref: 003163 (CMP). This meets the requirements of legislation to protect the funds held on behalf of all our many clients. All funds held by us in many segregated bank accounts are secured without risk to clients. Our current certificate is here

We are members of The Institute of Residential Property Management. Our Membership Number is 244231
