Our History
Embassy Management originated in South Africa in 1992 - the trading name developed from a Management Consultancy business styled as MB Consulting. The latter was started here in the UK in 2009 when our then Proprietor, Martyn Battrick, moved back to the UK after 34 years in the sun and the Embassy Management brand and logo was born.
Martyn Battrick started Embassy Management from his home office in Hawkinge and quickly expanded into a small business based in Folkestone Town Centre. Beverley Barnes joined the team in 2015, later becoming a partner in 2017. Martyn took a step back from the business in 2019 so the business was restructured so that he could enjoy semi-retirement. The business continued to grow and in 2022, Trisha Watts joined the team with her wealth of knowledge in Block Management; an area which we were very keen to expand on. Trisha has been a huge asset to Embassy Management helping to grow the business further; so much so that help was needed on the Admin / Accounts side. Nikki Richens joined the team at the end of 2023 and heads up our in-house Accounts Department.
Embassy Management was originally a Sole Trader, and in 2024 due to our expansion, Embassy Management Limited and Embassy Management and Lettings (Ltd) were born. We now have a dedicated structure to deal with the different sides of our business. We have also expanded into Air BnB management and are licensed Drone operators too!
